This project originated from a need to better understand the historical trends and causes behind aviation accidents. Given the critical nature of aviation safety, this dashboard offers a comprehensive analysis of accidents by location, severity of injuries, aircraft damage, and other key factors.

By using publicly available aviation accident data, this project helps pinpoint areas and phases of flight most prone to accidents. It provides insights that could aid safety professionals, aviation authorities, and researchers in identifying patterns and improving air safety measures. The dashboard effectively visualizes high-dimensional data into an easily interpretable format, enabling decision-makers to derive actionable insights.

This project involved analyzing aviation safety data to uncover trends in accidents. The goal was to identify patterns that could support decision-making in aviation safety.

The data was cleaned and prepared, followed by modeling relationships between different variables such as location, aircraft type, and flight purpose. Various Excel tools like pivot tables, calculated columns, pivot charts and DAX functions were used for in-depth analysis and visualization.

The result is an interactive dashboard that delivers key insights into aviation accident trends, offering clear and actionable data for safety professionals and decision-makers.
